Step Two: The New Patient Exam
You have met Dr Insolera, you have come in for your Cure Consult, what’s next? The New Patient Exam. In this Episode we discover what goes into gathering the proper information from a patient so Dr. Insolera and his team have the knowledge and data to build a solid treatment plan.
Step Three: If you can Measure it, you can treat it. The TMJ Exam
Now with the new patient exam complete it is time to move to the next step. In this episode Dr Insolera discusses building a plan for the patient. Then going over that plan in great detail with the patient, and most importantly, getting a commitment from the patient to follow the plan.
Step Four: Your first day with the right bite
After what is often a lifetime of dysfunction you are now fitted with an orthotic that allows your bite to function properly. In this Episode Dr Insolera discusses this very important step in the treatment plan, and why this is your first day with the correct bite.
Step Five: Are we ready for the next orthotic?
In this episode we fast forward in your treatment plan to the point where you measurements have improved, your muscle is changing and your ready to move on to Orthotic number two. Dr Insolera will discuss what he needs to see at this point for you to move on.
Step Six: Physical therapy
An extremely important component to Dr Insolera’s method of treating your jaw disfunction is posture and head placement. In very important Episode Dr Insolera is joined by Jamie, one of the Physical Therapist he works with to help patience improve posture and get their head aligned to help promote better breathing and function.
Step Seven: Rebalance
Continuing on the theme of previous episode, in Episode 7, Dr Insolera is joined by Julia, a Massage Therapist he works with to help patient gain whole body health. They discuss the techniques they use to get joints functioning properly and the role postural influence has on the bite.
